Robin graduated from East Carolina University (Greenville, NC) in 1992 where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.

From 1992 until 2005 she worked in the medical setting, including; rehabilitation, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities.

In 1999, she was blessed with the birth of her twin daughters. Along with this birth was the rebirth of her love of pediatric occupational therapy. This was partly due to one daughter receiving OT in NICU and her other daughter being an outpatient for PT.

In 2005, she started working for the Rock Hill School District. In this setting, she has worked with various disorders/ disabilities, including but not limited to; Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delays/ Learning Disabilities, Sensory Processing Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury, Muscular Dystrophy, and Spectrum Disorders.

She is also active with children in her community threw various volunteer work. Some of her involvement includes: an active member of the Rock Hill Youth & Children Commission; advocate for "The Number One Question" (is it good for the children) campaign for Rock Hill; advocating for, & assisting in, development of the Children's Museum for Rock Hill; Family Promise; Special Olympics; developed a Mentor Club; and various children activities at her church.

Robin enjoys expanding her knowledge for pediatric OT through reading and participating in continuing education courses. These courses include; Handwriting Without Tears (2 day course), Sensory Processing Disorders, Sensory Based Principles for Children with ASD, and Jump Start Learning.  In January of 2009, she became certified as a Children's Yoga Instructor.

Robin joined Tega Cay Speaks in 2010 and looks forward to the growth and development this will allow in her life and for the children she adores to be around.
