Heather received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and then a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Heather was awarded the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She also presented her research in a poster presentation at the 1998 annual convention.
Heather has worked in a variety of settings and began working at Tega Cay Speaks in January 2007. She loves working with children of all ages.

Heather lives in Tega Cay with her husband and four children, ages 4, 6, 8 and 10 and two dogs.
